Hello! I’m Anna (she/her) and I’m grateful to be offering clinical counselling services to the qathet
community as part of the Timber team.
As I work with you, my intention is to foster a warm, supportive, and collaborative space where you
can feel safe to share whatever is on your mind and heart, without fear of judgement. With an
anti-oppressive and trauma-informed approach, I aim to draw on your intuition and innate strengths
to promote the healing, growth or change that you are seeking. As our time in session together only
constitutes a small part of your life, I believe it’s important to support you in building a toolkit of
knowledge, skills and tools upon which you can rely to navigate life with self-compassion, clarity, and
confidence. To me, walking the path alongside you as you process memories, work through
emotions, face current challenges, explore different parts of yourself, and grow your toolkit, is a
privilege. I feel deep gratitude to be invited on these meaningful journeys.
I completed my Master’s of Social Work at the University of British Columbia, and I am a registered
clinical counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors, as well as a registered social worker
with the BC College of Social Workers.
I work with individual adult clients (18 years and older), and I tend to support people struggling with anxiety, depression, chronic pain, life transitions, internalized
oppression, relationship issues, grief & loss, or a desire for growth. My work is informed by the
strengths-based approach, biopsychosocial-spiritual model, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT),
pain science, Polyvagal theory, Somatic Experiencing, mindfulness, and Internal Family Systems,
among many other perspectives, modalities and approaches.
I am a settler on these lands, with European ancestry on both sides of my family. I grew up on the
shared, unceded, traditional and ancestral territories of the xwməθkwəy̓ əm (Musqueam),
Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations, colonially known as Vancouver.
I’m grateful to currently be living on the traditional and ancestral territory of the ɬaʔamɩn (Tla’amin)
people, colonially known as Powell River. I recognize my privilege and responsibility as a settler and
steward.
What supports me in feeling centered, grounded and alive in my life are my connections with my
friends & family; spending time in nature; enjoying nutritious, tasty & colourful meals; moving my
body (yoga, hiking, swimming, dancing, climbing, biking, skiing); and engaging with art - whether it
be music, film, television, photography, or paintings.
If you’d like to connect with me before booking a session, please feel free to reach out at
annabockcounselling@gmail.com, and I would be happy to answer your questions by email or
schedule a free 20-min video consultation. I look forward to meeting you!

Hello qathet community,
I’m deeply honoured to offer my practice and hold a safe, supportive space within this community. I completed my Bachelor of Kinesiology with a minor in Psychology at the University of British Columbia in 2020. Since then, I’ve continued to explore the many dimensions of health and wellness, seeking ways to nurture the mind, body, and spirit in a truly holistic way. This journey ultimately led me to complete the Manual Osteopathic Therapy program through the Manual Osteopathic College of Canada.
Osteopathic therapy is both an art and a science, grounded in a deep understanding of anatomy, physiology, and the interconnectedness of all body systems. It supports the body’s natural ability to self-heal and self-regulate through gentle, hands-on treatment. Manual osteopathic therapy aims to address the root cause of dysfunction and restore balance across all systems of the body.
Osteopathic care can support a wide range of conditions, including (but not limited to):
- Injury recovery
- Postural imbalances
- Low back pain
- Neck pain
- Joint Pain
- Digestive issues
- Prenatal & Postpartum discomfort
- Headaches
- Sleep disturbances
- Stress and anxiety
Treatment gently supports the body as a whole addressing the structural framework, organs, muscles, fascia, and connective tissues, while also enhancing the flow and function of the lymphatic, circulatory, and nervous systems.
Creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment is central to my practice. I continually orient myself toward values of curiosity, openness, compassion, empathy, and patience.
If you have any questions, curiosities, or would simply like to learn more about how I practice, feel free to reach out at owlscryosteopathy@gmail.com.
Warmly,
Allie

Keri grew up in Northern BC where she began dancing at the age of three. She went on to compete all across BC in multiple disciplines including ballet, tap and contemporary dance. Her passion for movement ignited a curiosity to learn more about the human body and how it works.
She completed the Massage Therapy program at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Victoria in 2015 and has since gained experience working in both spas and clinics. She has attended continuing education classes in Feldenkrais and Pilates, and enjoys empowering her clients to heal through body awareness and movement. Her treatments are often described as both therapeutic and deeply relaxing.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, making art, reading and having dance parties in her kitchen. She is excited to be back on the west coast to raise her children in this beautiful community.

Our bodies have an incredible capacity for healing, adaptation, and resilience. This is a key concept that guides Ilya’s practice as he works with each patient to address their specific concerns and develop a well-rounded treatment approach to help them reach their health goals.
Ilya has been a practicing RMT since 2017, but his passion for health and wellness extends much further back. Through martial arts, resistance training, yoga, and rock climbing, he’s spent years exploring movement and the body’s potential—experiences that have shaped his understanding of its capabilities, limitations, and injuries.
Drawing on this background, along with eight years of clinical and spa experience, Ilya’s treatments blend therapeutic and relaxation-based techniques. Myofascial and trigger-point release, joint mobilizations, and Swedish massage commonly find their place in his sessions, offering a well-rounded approach to care.
He places strong emphasis on patient education—helping people understand the “why” behind their pain and giving them the tools to take an active role in their recovery through movement, stretching, and exercise.
Originally from Russia and raised in Vancouver, Ilya has called Powell River home for the past five years. Once drawn here by the coast’s rugged beauty and laid-back rhythm, he now finds joy in sharing that lifestyle with his young family. Outside the clinic, he’s a proud dad who still makes time for hiking, backpacking, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu when he can.
Our bodies have an incredible capacity for healing, adaptation, and resilience. This is a key con...
